Instructions
1: Season the prime rib eye steak with SPG and let it rest to room temperature. 2: Preheat a Lodge cast iron pan until it's at least 600 degrees Fahrenheit. 3: Place the steak flat on one side for about 3 minutes without touching it until a crust forms. 4: Turn the steak and sear the edges before flipping it. 5: Lower the heat to medium and add butter, garlic, and fresh rosemary to the pan. 6: Baste the steak with the mixture, then remove it from the heat and let it rest for at least 5 minutes. 7: For the potatoes, score, season, and sear them, then roast at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20 minutes until crispy. 8: Top the potatoes with sour cream and crispy bacon before serving.View original recipe
