Filipino BBQ Riblets

These riblets are steam infused with Filipino flavors and roasted until they’re fall off the bone sticky goodness. Pressure steamed in an adobo broth, infused with soy and bay leaves, and coated with a banana ketchup BBQ glaze, they are served to perfection alongside rice and Island Pacific Atchara.

What you need

Instructions
1: Season the ribs generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. 2: In a pressure cooker, combine soy, vinegar, and bay leaves, and add the liquid smoke. 3: Place the seasoned ribs on a rack above the liquid. 4: Set the pressure cooker on high for 20 minutes to steam infuse the ribs. 5: For the BBQ glaze, sear whole garlic and onion in a pan. 6: Add soy, vinegar, banana ketchup, brown sugar, black pepper, and cornstarch to the pan and stir well. 7: Remove the ribs from the Instant Pot and toss them in the BBQ glaze until well coated. 8: Broil the coated ribs at 550°F on the top rack for about 5 minutes, watching closely. 9: Remove when the glaze is bubbling and caramelized.View original recipe
