Instructions
1: Remove the center bones from salmon steaks and press together held by toothpicks. 2: Coat the steaks with oil, season with salt and pepper, and coat with corn starch. 3: Fry the salmon over high heat for about 3-4 minutes on each side until crispy and medium rare. 4: Remove from pan and prepare the sauce by adding soy sauce, water, juice from the lemon, brown sugar, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in the pan. 5: Adjust the consistency with water or cornstarch as desired. 6: Add onion rings and simmer until desired texture. 7: Add back the salmon and simmer for about 5 minutes. 8: Serve the salmon with onion rings and a scoop of white rice.View original recipe
