Instructions
1: Combine all ingredients except about 3 Tbsp. for basting to create the marinade. 2: Marinade the pork shoulder or chicken thighs overnight or for at least 4 hours. 3: Preheat the oven to 425°F. 4: Place the marinated meat on a baking rack over a pan with water to prevent smoke. 5: Roast in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. 6: Lower the oven temperature to 375°F and roast for another 15 minutes. 7: Flip the meat and roast for an additional 15 minutes. 8: Mix honey into the remaining marinade, baste the meat on both sides, and roast for another 10 minutes until thick and caramelized. 9: Remove the meat from the oven, let it rest, slice, and finish with the reserved marinade.View original recipe
