Instructions
1: Season and sear the beef short ribs on all sides over high heat. 2: In the same pot, add diced onion and minced garlic, and sear until fragrant. 3: Add diced tomatoes, tomato paste, fish sauce, bouillon, liver spread, bay leaves, brown sugar, and the seasoning packet; mix thoroughly. 4: Add the seared short ribs back into the mixture, cover, and braise on the stove top or in a 350°F oven for at least 1.5 hours until the beef is tender. 5: While the beef braises, prepare the vegetables by dicing the potato, carrots, and bell pepper. 6: Sear the veggies under the broiler or in a pan until slightly cooked. 7: Once the beef and stew are done, stir in the seared vegetables, then serve with white rice.View original recipe
